A photographic journey...

From the small town in Serbia to the big city of Chicago, I have learned to love and admire everything around me.

The search for that creative perspective was the beginning of a never ending journey.

Cities are full of unlimited inspiration. The dramatic collision of people and architecture gives each city a unique essence and existence.

Rising at dawn, chasing the sunset, capturing the change, people or community, this is where I draw the rest of my inspiration!

The search always starts with an idea. Scouting, light chasing, waiting for the perfect opportunity, are the rest of the elements that go into my work.

Sometimes it requires a lot of planning and time, and sometimes, everything falls into place just by pure luck!

While being partially color blind, my eyes recognize shapes, lines and textures first.

Being able to visualize all of those elements makes me enjoy the black and white photography even more.

If asked to explain the idea behind my work in one sentence, this quote would be the one:

"Art is not a mirror held up to reality but a hammer with which to shape it"

=Bertolt Brecht-
